La Delicia Police District, inaugurates the holiday course «My happy holidays»

In the training courtyard of the La Delicia Police District, today at 09:00, the opening ceremony of the holiday camp «My happy holidays with Paquito and his friends 2018» was held.

The event was attended by around 300 children from different neighborhoods and sectors of the police jurisdiction of this district. It was reported that visits will be made to police units such as: the Riding and Riding Unit – UER, the Police High School, the CRAC Regional Canine Training Center, and the Environmental Protection Unit – UPMA. The holiday event will last four weeks, from Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 12:00, and will run in the sectors of Cotocollao, Ponciano, Condado, Roldos, Colinas, Mena del Hierro, Bota, Mirador, Pomasqui, San Antonio, Calacali.

The main objective is to contribute to the development of children through leisure and recreation, strengthening ties of union, credibility and trust with the police institution.

EM Police Colonel César Zapata Correa, Commander of the La Delicia District, highlighted the execution of these community events for children, pointing out that the Police is oriented to care for and protect the community, and also to address the needs of the youngest, «For this reason, we want to provide this recreational space so that our children enjoy their holidays properly and occupy their time in productive activities» he concluded.
