Three Ecuadorians were detained with drugs at the airport who tried to transfer it to Spain

In the international airport José Joaquin de Olmedo, agents of the Regional Center for Canine Training (CRAC), arrested three for the alleged crime of illegal possession of substances subject to control.

The head of the Antinarcotics Unit of Zone 8, Crnl. Edwin Noguera Cozar, reported that in the last 24 hours CRAC agents, who were performing an anti-drug control operation, have proceeded to the arrests of Johanna N., for carryng in their luggage the amount of 1,319 grams of cocaine.

The Crnl. Edwin Noguera said, that the drug that was uncovered by an anti.drug can, was found hidden in cologne products for babies. The citizen with the evidence was transferred to the Flagrancy Unit and placed at the orders of justice.

In the second case presented by the Head of the Antinarcotics Unit, it was indicated that in the José Joaquín de Olmedo, the Ecuadorians Minuncia L., and Joel B., have been apprehended by agents of the Ports and Airports Information Unit (UIPA). ) and the Regional Center for Canine Training (CRAC).

The suspects tried to leave the country on their way to Madrid Spain, 133 grams of cocaine that had been concealed in the suitcase of Minuncia L, who used to be a human mail and Joel B. as a supplier. The drug was found in natural products, said the anti-narcotics authority.

As in the first case, those apprehended were placed at the orders of the justice and the drug admitted as evidence in the collection center of the Anti-narcotics Unit (Oswaldo Trujillo P. DNCE, Zone 8).
