Two motorcycles detained in operating anticachinerías

Two motorcycles of dubious origin were detained during an operation control mechanical workshops held in Ibarra on Friday 22 July. The owner of the local did not justify with documents the legal origin of the black color motorcycle, with LONCIN motorcycle logo and color, BLACK, unbranded, with HONDA logo.
The police presence was made after the judge of the Criminal Judicial Unit Imbabura Guarantees issued the order against the workshop called «Motorcycle Ibarra» located on the street Antonio Cordero and Luis Toro Moreno. On site, the police checked the documentation, chassis and engine numbers of several motorcycle repair shop were. Two of them were of dubious origin.
The motorcycles whose data engine and chassis were entered into the computer system of the National Police showed that they were not registered, so they were transferred to the courts of vehicular retention of the Judicial Police of Ibarra with the respective chain of custody.
