Police dismantle alleged gang dedicated to the collection and distribution of alkaloid in southern Guayaquil

Drugs, a firearm, cash and three people arrested and suspected members of a criminal organization dedicated to the collection and marketing of alkaloid in the microtraffic modality, is the balance of the operation «Impacto Miami Guasmo», executed by the Unit Anti-narcotics on Thursday afternoon.
At 2:00 pm agents of the Anti-Narcotics Unit, accompanied by personnel from the Mobile Anti-Narcotics Task Force (Gem) and in coordination with the Attorney General’s office, executed the search warrants in two houses located in the Miami Beach and Florida Cooperatives 1 in the sector From Guasmo to the South.
Medardo Alonso R. M., 35, who recorded three detentions for robbery and possession of a firearm, Ulises Yordan P. CH. (23) recorded an arrest for illegal possession of firearms and Julio Humberto S. (37), were arrested in the police proceeding that according to intelligence work would be using the houses for the collection and distribution of the drug.
Inside the building were found 840 doses of drugs that when subjected to preliminary field tests resulted in 3,700 grams of marijuana and 64 grams of cocaine.
Inside the homes were also found a revolver lime. 38, seven cartridges and the amount of 1,120 dollars, that could not be justified by implicated reason why they were transferred to the Unit of Flagrancy Albán Borja (O Trujillo, O. Reyes, DNCE, Zone 8).
