The National Police is an institution of civil character, armed, Technical, Hierarchical, disciplined, professional and highly specialized, whose mission is to serve public safety and public order, protect the free exercise of the rights and safety of the persons within the National territory.

By 2017, we will be the most reliable and effective institution at national and regional level in citizen  safety by providing quality police services oriented at good to live, in unrestricted respect for human rights and democratic freedoms.

Values

Due ethic and social responsibility that our professional mission, most of the principles that guide the institution, we require a set of personal values that lead to give the best of us for professional performance and in our private lives.

These values ​​are learned in the family and in school are reinforced during the education process and training we received, not only in the classroom but with the word and example of our superiors.

Hence it is essential to know the values ​​underlying our behavior and that arise from the deepest personal convictions that make us best police.

If we choose the police profession is because in us prevails the vocation of public service and we are aware that people can turn to us with the need for protection in case of an emergency, when public order is disturbed or when it requires a guide, information or support.
